Built between 1940-1941 as part of a dispersal camp for personnel of the nearby RAF Airfield. It would have provided protection from bombing raids for the personnel staying in the dispersal camp. Built of reinforced concrete partially sunken into the ground and then covered with earth and grass, it has a brick built right angled main entrance at one end with an escape hatch at the other end.
