Dressing Station

Built in the same style as the Deep Shelters within the surrounding area these tunnels served as a underground Dressing Station for the nearby Battery.

The dressing stations main purpose was to patch up the wounded enough so that they could be transferred to a proper hospital. In one of our photos you can see the ramp that the patient trollies would’ve been winched up and down on.
