RAF Hawkinge Battle HQ

The bunker is one of the remaining structures left at the airfield.

This bunker was possibly a Battle HQ for the airfield.

Inside there are two rooms. At one end there are two entrances that have been backfilled, there is also remains of a ladder which could possibly indicate a lower level. At the other end of the bunker there is another entrance which is also backfilled.
