Rifle Range

The range was built in 1897 before being enlarged in 1910 with the 800yrd butt. During the Second World War the range was used by the Home Guard for training and firing exercises. The area in which the range is situated was heavily bombed during the war. The targets are still situated in their mechanical fittings.
