South Foreland Battery Plotting Room

This plotting room controlled the firing of the batteries four guns. It was buried deep underground for protection and was where radar and other information was received before sending target information out to the batteries four guns

.

Access into the plotting room was via a vertical shaft and would’ve also had a number of gas decontamination chambers, a plant room that housed the ventilation fans and filters, the plotting room itself and an emergency exit via another smaller shaft.
