WW1 AA Battery

Built between 1912-1914 this AA Battery was in service during World War 1 before being abandoned. At the start of World War 2 the battery was refitted and bought back into service. Originally the battery was fitted with a 1pdr Pom Pom and a 3in gun but by 1916 the battery had a pair of 3in guns. During World War Two the site became a Z Rocket AA Battery.
